Floating Medical Assistant PRN - Clinical Care Coord II - FPG

Department Centralized Clinical Services Job Summary The Clinical Care Coordinator I demonstrate the competency to provide patient care according to the age-specific population needs and assist in the management of patient care in the physician office setting under the direct supervision of a provider. PRN position is set pay rate of $22.00/hr. Required Qualifications

• Require current/active Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) certification by an accredited certifying agency; or
• Require an active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license with at least one (1) year medical assistant or clinical healthcare experience; or
• Require an experienced medical assistant with minimum of one (1) year of medical assistant work experience. CMA or RMA must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire hire/start date.
• Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer one (1) year of clinical experience in an outpatient physician’s office practice.
• Prefer experience with electronic practice management and electronic health record programs.
• Prefer the ability to demonstrate self-direction and initiative.
• Prefer demonstrated knowledge of electronic practice management and electronic health records software along with skill in all Microsoft office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point). Mandatory Education HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate Candidates will travel to offices within the FPG network of offices and should be available 4 days per month minimum. Self-scheduling is available! Offices are located in various areas (Sarasota, Venice, Lakewood Ranch and more). Most office are opening Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. *Shift start/end times may vary at each office.
