Custodian

Application Deadline: October 16,2026 Work Months: 12.00 Hours: 4 hours per day, 5 days a week Clock Hours: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (subject to change) Salary: $21.33 to $25.97 per hour. If your workday begins between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 a.m., you will be provided a 5% shift differential. If you have a position with the district that is earlier in the day, you do not earn the shift differential.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Positions in this class are entry level for custodial classes, and may be part-time positions. They are typically assigned to swing and/or night shifts and may include weekend schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: One year experience in custodial work.

Education

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
