Inside Sales Representative

Anton Paar develops, manufactures and markets high-precision measuring and analytical instruments for laboratories and industry. As part of a replacement, Anton Paar France is looking for an Inside Sales Representative on a permanent contract to join our sales team based in Les Ulis (91), France . At the heart of our sales development activities, your role will be to develop remote sales and identify new business opportunities with existing customers and prospects.

Sales prospecting, mainly by phone, will be a key part of your day-to-day responsibilities. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys telephone-based sales, proactively reaching out to prospects and developing new business opportunities. Telephone Prospecting & Business Development Telephone prospecting will be a major part of the position.

Your responsibilities

will include Carrying out daily targeted telephone prospecting with B2B customers and prospects Identifying new contacts and new business opportunities Contacting and qualifying prospects to understand their needs Presenting Anton Paar solutions and generating interest in our products Qualifying and following up on leads generated through our website, digital platforms and marketing activities Conducting regular telephone follow-ups to develop sales opportunities Developing and maintaining your portfolio of contacts Recording and tracking your activities and opportunities in the CRM You should therefore be comfortable with telephone prospecting and enjoy a proactive sales approach .

This role is not limited to handling incoming customer enquiries: proactively contacting prospects and customers by phone is an essential part of the position. Customer Relations & Incoming Enquiries Handle incoming customer enquiries by phone, email and digital channels Identify and qualify customer needs Provide initial commercial and technical information Manage remote sales of accessories, consumables and equipment suitable for inside sales Update customer information and track sales opportunities in the CRM Sales Team Support Prepare and send quotations in support of the field sales team Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities Contribute to joint sales and marketing activities Follow up with customers and prospects after technical days, workshops, webinars and other events Work closely with our sales, technical, marketing and service teams Training & Product Knowledge You will receive regular training to develop your knowledge of Anton Paar instruments and solutions, enabling you to communicate effectively with customers and prospects.

Occasional travel may be required to attend trade fairs, professional events or customer visits in support of the field sales team. Minimum 2–3 years of higher education in sales, business, management or an equivalent field Previous experience in Inside Sales, B2B telesales, sales support or telephone prospecting is preferred You are particularly comfortable on the phone and confident in proactively contacting new prospects You enjoy prospecting, convincing, following up and turning initial contacts into business opportunities You are results-oriented and enjoy working towards commercial objectives You are comfortable using CRM and standard business software You are organised, rigorous, autonomous and proactive You enjoy working as part of a team Professional English is preferred An interest in scientific, technical or industrial environments would be a strong advantage.

Location & Working Arrangements 📍 The position is based at Anton Paar France's office in Les Ulis (91), France. This is a 100% office-based position and is not eligible for remote work . Given the on-site nature of the role, living in Les Ulis or within a reasonable commuting distance would be an advantage .

Compensation

€38,000 to €40,000 , depending on profile and experience; Variable compensation in addition to the base salary.
