TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST CORPORATE SERVICES – RESOURCE POSITION SUMMARY The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support Spicer Group’s continued growth by leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for technical, professional, and corporate roles within the AEC industry. This position partners closely with the Resource Director, department leaders, and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, attract qualified candidates, and ensure professional and engaging candidate experience.

Collaborate with department leaders to define role requirements, refine job descriptions, and strategize sourcing methods Advise leadership on market compensation trends, talent availability, and competitive dynamics within the AEC industry Proactively source passive and active talent through LinkedIn, job boards, industry networking, university relations, and employee referrals Ensure a transparent, engaging, and highly professional candidate experience from the initial screening to the offer stage Represents the organization at career fairs and professional events; builds relationships with academic advisors, professors, and collegiate staff Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with potential candidates, hiring managers, and external partners Organizes and plans marketing materials for recruitment events Conducts initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and compensation expectations Provides timely feedback to hiring managers and HR leadership regarding candidate pipelines and application status Collaborate with marketing team to develop innovative campaigns to attract qualified applicants Schedules interviews and job shadowing opportunities for candidates Utilizes standardized screening techniques to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and alignment with role requirements Actively works toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization Facilitates department recruiting meetings to align recruitment efforts with departmental goals Maintains consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle Logs and tracks recruitment activities and candidate progress using the applicant tracking system (ATS) Assists with new hire onboarding coordination Physical office presence is preferred.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms (e.g.
, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake) Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities Advanced knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment and selection High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems Strong organizational skills with a bias for action and sense of urgency Highly motivated and results-driven, determination to achieve specific goals and focus on measurable outcomes PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of proven, full-cycle recruiting experience-highly preferred within the AEC industry Familiarity with engineering, surveying, and various technical terminology (Civil 3D, GIS, ALTA surveys, etc.)
