About the Role
The Quality Control professional in Arcadia Products, LLC. plays a critical role in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards before reaching customers. This position involves systematically inspecting, testing, and evaluating materials and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
The role requires collaboration with production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. The Quality Control specialist also maintains detailed documentation and compliance records to support regulatory requirements and internal quality benchmarks.
Ultimately, this role safeguards the company’s reputation by delivering durable goods that consistently meet or exceed industry and customer expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred. Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in durable goods. Familiarity with quality control methodologies such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product specifications. Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline. Certification such as Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Six Sigma Green Belt. Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system standards. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis software.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards. Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement within the manufacturing process. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Ensure all quality control procedures and documentation comply with industry regulations and company policies. Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any findings promptly. Train and support manufacturing staff on quality standards and best practices to promote a culture of quality throughout the production floor.
Utilize quality management systems and tools to track product quality and process efficiency. Skills: The required skills enable the Quality Control professional to accurately assess product quality and identify defects through precise measurement and testing techniques. Proficiency in quality control methodologies and inspection tools ensures consistent application of standards and effective problem-solving.
Preferred skills
