Neuropsychology Technician

Job Description: Northwest Suburban Psychology is a private practice specializing in pediatric neuropsychological assessments in the Northshore area. We are searching for a full time Neuropsych Technician to join our team and grow with us. We pride ourselves in helping pediatric patients and delivering the best possible experience and customer service to our clients.

The technician works under the supervision of our clinical neuropsychologists in order to administer and score assessments. General Duties: Administer and score extensive neuropsychological tests for children(ages 4-24) with a range of psychologically diverse challenges. Implement behavior management skills and strategies in order to maintain valid data and keep patients motivated.

Create patient data tables, record behavioral observations and confirm all data is ready to be reviewed and interpreted for our doctors. Handle inventory management, order supplies and oversee the office space(i.e make sure items are orderly and everything is stocked etc.) Create new patient files and confirm we have proper patient documentation prior to patient appointments.

Send out necessary questionnaires to parents and educators. Assist in other administrative duties.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Psychology Has at least one year of experience working as a neuropsych technician or similar field. Has strong interpersonal skills and clinical judgement. Experience with kids preferred.
