Job Overview This is a specialized Registered Dietitian (RD) position to support the Nutrition & Dietetics Manager directly over five major domains of work: staff coverage, staff training, administration, project coordination, and regulatory compliance.

The RD will cover various PACE Registered Dietitian duties remotely or in-person for any of the Alta. Med PACE centers, as needed to support compliance-related needs such as assessments, care planning, IDT meetings, and food program requirements. The RD will support training such as onboarding, process implementation, and competency re-training as assigned by the Nutrition & Dietetics Manager.

The RD will support Nutrition & Dietetics operations by assisting processes such as data collection, data analysis, report building, preparing and facilitating presentations, and compliance recordkeeping. The RD will support PACE by assisting with program planning and implementation, participating in CQI initiatives, and serving on interdisciplinary committees to improve participant health outcomes and the delivery of nutrition care services.

The RD will collaborate with discipline managers, QI, the Nutrition & Dietetics department, and other PACE leaders to address organizational goals and optimize care delivery. Minimum Requirements Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) status with the Commission on Dietetics Registration required.

California Food Handler or Food Protection Manager Certification from an ANSI-accredited training provider meeting ASTM International E2659-09 Standard Practice for Certificate Programs. Required within 90 days of hire, required. Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in clinical nutrition as an RD/RDN required Minimum 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly, preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on demographics of PACE site, preferred. A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$83,200.00 - $104,000.00 annually Compensation Disclaimer Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. Alta. Med is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization.

This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
