Medical Assistant

Fast Paced, Dynamic and Friendly Dermatology Clinic looking for a Part time Medical Assistant to work alongside the Dermatologists in our Centerville clinic. The Full-Time position is 38-40 hours per week. Typical schedules are 8-9 hour days (7:20am-4:45/5:00 pm) Monday-Fridays. This schedule may vary based on Clinic staffing requirements, Federal holidays and provider vacation schedules.

A medical assistant certificate is preferred but NOT required. CNAs are encouraged to apply for on-the-job training as a medical assistant. Previous work in the medical field is a requirement. Assist Physicians and other providers with examinations and surgical procedures Answer patient’s questions about medications and wound care Scribe and maintain patients’ medical records Assist in surgery and minor procedures Review medical history Return Patient Phone calls Clean and restock examination rooms Sterilize instruments Educate patients on and assist with cosmetic procedures Positive attitude Motivated Self-Starter Teamwork oriented Caring, compassionate and patient focused Punctual Enthusiasm and willingness to learn Experience working in the medical field All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
