Estates and Trusts Attorney/Associate (NYC)

Offit Kurman is seeking an Estates and Trusts Attorney to join our New York City office to support our expanding private client services practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking for a collaborative, entrepreneurial platform with strong cross-selling opportunities and firm support.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience practicing trusts and estates law
• Licensed to practice law in New York Experience:
• Strong experience drafting a broad range of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts, as well as related ancillary documents (powers of attorney, healthcare directives, etc.)
• Ability to manage day-to-day estate planning needs for individuals and families, including straightforward and moderately complex planning engagements
• Comfortable managing client relationships, gathering information, and translating client goals into clear, practical estate plans
• Some experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on advanced planning strategies (e.g., GRATs, SLATs, CRATs) is a plus
