SAP Project Systems Consultant

CDIT Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP Project System (PS) Consultant to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). The consultant implements, configures, and supports SAP PS solutions to manage complex projects from planning through execution and monitoring, and understands the integration points between PS and the program’s main module, Transportation Management (TM), as well as other modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the SAP PS module in depth, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), networks, activities, and milestones.
• Design and implement project structures, cost planning, budgeting, and resource management solutions.
• Integrate SAP PS with other SAP modules (TM, MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, PP).
• Develop and maintain project planning, scheduling, and monitoring processes.
• Create and configure project templates and standard structures.
• Support project billing, settlement, and closing activities.
• Conduct user training and create documentation for end users.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PS solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Participate in testing, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Stay current with SAP best practices and new PS functionality. Required Qualifications
• U.S. citizenship and an active clearance. Clearance must be active, in scope, and held in DISS prior to start.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on SAP PS implementation and support experience.
• Strong knowledge of PS master data, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Experience with project costing, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
• Understanding of integration points between PS and CO, MM, SD, and FI.
• Proficiency in configuring networks, activities, and relationships.
• Knowledge of resource planning and capacity leveling. Technical Skills
• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Project Builder, Project Planning Board, and PS reporting tools.
• Claims management and progress analysis.
• Results analysis and settlement configuration.
• Basic ABAP knowledge (preferred).
• SAP Fiori/UI5 experience (a plus). Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused approach. Preferred Certifications
• SAP Certified Application Associate – Project System with SAP ERP.
• PMP or similar project management certification (an advantage). Location, Travel & Compliance
• Remote, with approximately 10% travel every 12 weeks to Scott Air Force Base, IL. Candidates within a 4-hour radius of Scott AFB are preferred.
• DoD 8140 compliance is required. A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree is the simplest path; other qualifying options include an approved certification or required training.
