The Role At Sovos, we're looking for a Compliance Services Associate to become a trusted resource for our clients, helping them navigate tax compliance with confidence. In this role, you'll coordinate data workflows, ensure timely regulatory submissions, and help clients get the most out of our software - all while building a strong foundation for your career in tax technology. More specifically, you will: Perform all tasks within our application on behalf of clients, including mapping and importing data, creating print files, and generating transmittal files. Adhere to all client deadlines to ensure regulatory requirements are met on time and accurately. Import and reconcile data based on client needs, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Document all client-specific requirements clearly to maintain continuity and quality of service. Provide training to clients as needed to help them navigate our software solution effectively. Submit remittances to federal and state agencies in a timely and accurate manner. Identify process improvements and suggest efficiencies to strengthen internal workflows and reduce risk, leveraging AI tools where appropriate. What You Bring to Sovos You're comfortable with computer software and have strong Microsoft Excel skills. You have strong customer service skills with an emphasis on listening and documenting client needs. You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences. You're detail-oriented and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. You're open to using AI-assisted workflows and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire. What Does Sovos Offer You? At Sovos, we are committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect both industry and market standards. We expect that this role will pay a base salary of $45,000 annually.

may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location.
