We’re looking for an ambitious and people-focused General Manager to bring our hotel to life, inspire our team and deliver exceptional experiences for every guest.

What you’ll be doing Lead, motivate and develop a team that delivers outstanding hospitality. Drive revenue, profitability and commercial performance across the hotel. Maintain exceptional standards across bedrooms, food and beverage, housekeeping and events. Oversee and develop the hotel’s events business, ensuring exceptional delivery of weddings, functions and special occasions.

Create memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat visits and glowing reviews. Build strong relationships within the local community and make the most of Romsey’s thriving market-town location. Take ownership of recruitment, training, budgets, costs and day-to-day operations. Celebrate the hotel’s unique heritage while ensuring it continues to thrive for modern guests.

What we’re looking for Proven experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality leadership role. Essential: Proven experience managing and delivering events, including functions, weddings and special occasions. A natural leader who inspires, supports and develops their team. Strong commercial awareness and a track record of delivering results.

A passion for outstanding food, drink and guest experiences. A hands-on approach, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
