Purpose To ensure Crowd. Health Members' medical expenses are reviewed, managed, and crowdfunded efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with community standards—helping Members trust that their contributions are being used fairly and responsibly. Scope As a Crowdfunding Specialist, you will manage the flow of healthcare expenses through the Crowd.

Health platform—from reviewing submitted bills, evaluating eligibility, and finalizing expenses to coordinating the crowdfunding process and ensuring Member accounts are accurately maintained.

Your responsibilities

Reviewing healthcare bills and adherence to Membership guidelines Facilitating the crowdfunding process Evaluate fair pricing for bills Supporting a seamless Member experience around health events and expense handling This is a full-time remote position reporting to the Crowdfund Manager. Expected Outcome Crowd. Health Members experience a transparent, trustworthy, and well-managed funding process for major medical events—resulting in: High Member confidence in how their bills are funded Successful crowdfunding of valid, fairly priced care High levels of Member satisfaction and community engagement Responsibilities Health Event & Cost Administration Assess bills for completeness, eligibility, and fair market pricing.

Coordinate with Care Advocates to resolve questions or gather additional information. Submit bills for negotiation when pricing is excessive. Respond to Member requests and questions quickly and professionally Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the Member experience. Crowdfunding Management Submit eligible bills for crowdfunding Troubleshoot and resolve crowdfunding issues Handle failed payments, refunds, and cancellations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in public or private accounting, including reconciliations and financial operations Healthcare experience, with a strong background in healthcare billing and administration Passion for improving how people access and pay for healthcare in the U.S. Skills & Competencies Analytical mindset: Strong attention to detail and ability to assess legitimacy and fairness of submitted bills Financial accuracy: Comfortable reconciling accounts, and recording entries precisely Critical thinking: Able to evaluate complex healthcare scenarios and recommend solutions aligned with Crowd.

Health policies Process-driven: Strong organization, time management, and ability to manage multiple cases in various stages Technical proficiency: Skilled in Excel and familiar with platforms like Zen. Desk, Slack, and internal operations tools Team orientation: Collaborative, communicative, and supportive of other team members' work in delivering an excellent Member experience Empathy & trustworthiness: Committed to handling Member contributions with integrity and care
