Your Opportunity: The LPN provides safe care to patients diagnosed with a life limiting illness. This is an interdisciplinary, active treatment unit for patients who have complex physical and psychosocial needs that often require intensive support. Family and friends are considered to be part of the unit of care as they too can require significant support.

Description: Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team lead effectively on their own. The LPN works to the full scope of practice in providing safe, quality care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.

Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Additional Required Qualifications: Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills are required. Excellent assessment skills are required.
