Medical Lab Scientist

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Department: Blood Bank Location: Trinity Health Ann Arbor Status : Full time, 32 hours a week Shift: Day shift Required Qualifications: Education Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, or university in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.

• May consider a bachelor’s degree in science with a combination of relevant work experience in a comparable laboratory setting . Proof of educational transcripts must be submitted at time of application. Experience Relevant work experience in a medical laboratory is required if MLS/MT degree is not obtained. Certification/Licensure Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – ASCP, or NCLS certification preferred. Reports results of tests ordered stat and highly abnormal or unexpected results in a timely manner and according to established policies and procedures.
