VP of Operations

About the Role

The Vice President of Operations in the Information industry is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s operational processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and profitability. This role requires a visionary leader who can align operational strategies with business goals, ensuring seamless coordination across departments such as technology, customer service, and product development.

The VP of Operations will lead cross-functional teams to implement best practices, manage resources effectively, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles within the Information industry or a closely related sector. Proven track record of managing large, complex teams and driving operational excellence.

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource management. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related advanced degree. Experience working in a technology-driven environment with a focus on digital transformation. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards specific to the Information industry. Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or other process improvement methodologies.

Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute operational strategies that support the company’s overall business objectives and growth plans. Lead and mentor operations teams to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational initiatives with technological advancements and market trends.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to monitor operational effectiveness and drive data-informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Identify and manage risks related to operational processes and develop contingency plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery. Coordinate with product development and IT teams to support scalable infrastructure and innovation. Represent operations in executive meetings and contribute to strategic planning and organizational development.
