We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic Electronics Assembly team in the semiconductor industry.

Position: Assembler Department: Electronics Assembly Company: Solid State Devices, Inc. (SSDI)

Position Summary

Solid State Devices, Inc. (SSDI) is seeking Assemblers to perform mechanical inspections and clean components in our Electronics Assembly Department. Assemblers are responsible for assembling semiconductor devices and components in accordance with drawings and specifications, using specialized equipment, hand tools, and microscopes.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical inspection and cleaning of components to ensure they are free of debris, properly aligned, and securely soldered

• Ensure subassemblies are properly handled

• Use of manufacturing hand tools (soldering iron, pliers, drills, etc.)

• Proficient in microscope operation

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings

• Follow standardized procedures

• Follow verbal and written instructions

• Maintain an organized and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Basic math skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A least 6-months of experience in a related position is a plus!

• Experience using hand toolsandmicroscopes.

• Soldering experience is preferred.

Schedule

Full-time / Monday - Friday / 6:00am - 2:30pm (potential for overtime as business needs require)

Salary

Starting at $18.50 per hour / Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule / Direct Deposit
