Traveling Field Superintendent – Heavy Civil & Mission Critical Projects Location: Project-Based | Travel Across Southeast, Southwest & Mid-Atlantic Company: Gregory Construction Gregory Construction is seeking a Field Superintendent to support heavy civil and mission critical projects across multiple regions. This role is designed for someone who is ready to step up—whether you’re currently a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent looking to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership role.

This is a travel-based position. Project locations will vary, and flexibility is essential. Candidates should be open to working across the Southeast, Southwest, and Mid-Atlantic based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day field operations across grading, utilities, concrete, and sitework scopes Supervise crews and subcontractors to meet production, schedule, and quality goals Coordinate equipment, materials, and site logistics Partner with Project Managers to execute work plans and adjust as needed Enforce safety standards and maintain OSHA compliance Monitor job progress and proactively address field issues Support crew development and maintain a strong, accountable jobsite culture Qualifications 3–5+ years of heavy civil construction experience Experience leading crews as a Foreman or similar role Working knowledge of grading, utilities, paving, and concrete operations Ability to read plans and understand sequencing of work OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred) Willingness to travel consistently and work in multiple regions What This Role Offers Opportunity to step into a Superintendent role and grow within the company Exposure to a variety of projects and regions Competitive compensation, including travel/per diem where applicable Company-paid health and dental insurance 401(k) with company match A stable, growing company with a strong field-focused culture
