Procurement Officer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION To maintain the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it JOB DESCRIPTION

• Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes
• To track orders and ensure timely delivery
• To review quality of purchased products
• To enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in area under his/her care.
• Perform any other duties as and when required by the Management JOB REQUIREMENT Education:
• Diploma in Business Administration / Management / Finance or equivalent Knowledge and Experiences:
• At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Finance
• Familiarity with supply chain
• Experience in food and beverages industry will be an extra advantage
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization Skills & Competencies: Special skills required

• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills with positive attitude to work
