About the Role

In this role, you will be providing administrative support to the Human Resource Team in various capacities. You will also be assisting a diverse workforce with HR related requests, while collaborating, learning, and growing in this profession.

Employment Status: Full time non-exempt Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (hours can vary based on seasonal demand) Compensation: Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Duties and responsibilities

You will...

  • Recruiting – Creating job postings
  • Performing reference checks
  • Interview scheduling
  • Onboarding employees into our database
  • Completing new employee forms
  • Assisting with New Hire Orientations
  • Maintaining employee records electronically and hard copy files timely and efficiently o Leave of absences, personal information, absence requests, etc
  • Preparing announcements
  • Performing data entry payroll functions with timesheets.
  • Coordinating and participating with various employee events.
  • Assist with trainings and offering support to other coordinators.
  • Assist with Receptionist duties such as covering the switchboard when needed and other departmental needs.
  • Processing and auditing various employee forms and ensuring their accuracy.
  • Communicating with our employees daily and helping them with HR related questions and requests.
  • Assist and participate in enhancing our employee programs
  • Assist with other HR related administrative tasks that may not be mentioned in this posting.

  • Detail oriented with a strong sense of team emphasis
  • Highly proficient in use of various Microsoft OS and MS Applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Associates degree or experience equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with an acceptable driving record (past 3 years).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is required and the ability to read, write, and communicate in both languages.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a professional office setting.
