Activities Assistant - Weekends Only

In this onsite role, you will help create a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for residents by planning and leading activities that promotesocial connection, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and emotional well-being.

We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and energetic team member who enjoys working with older adults, especially in a memory careorsenior livingsetting. This is a great opportunity for someone interested inactivities, life enrichment, resident engagement, dementia care, assisted living, or senior care careers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and leading daily activities for residents
• Support games, crafts, music, events, and wellness programs
• Encourage resident participation and engagement
• Adapt activities for seniors with memory loss or cognitive impairment
• Set up and clean up activity spaces and supplies
• Work closely with staff to create meaningful resident experiences

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with seniors preferred, especially in memory care, assisted living, or senior living
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative, patient, and compassionate approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay active throughout the day
• Ability to work weekends
