As our next Parts Coordinator, you are responsible for the organization, condition and accuracy of maintenance spare parts inventory, production tooling and daily coordination with internal customers such as maintenance and production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Put safety first – Always! Lead and foster our “people first” culture. Inventory Accuracy Accurately manage the disposition of spare parts in and out of the store room. Ensure that all stock implemented or removed is documented and reported. Maintain up-to-date inventory in the master parts list. Investigate and troubleshoot any discrepancies and follow through with corrective action.
Inventory Management Conduct various inventory management activities as it applies to parts room operations. This includes, but is not limited to: Cycle counting of spare parts (daily and monthly), first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory management techniques and inventory troubleshooting and repair. Inventory Transactions Perform various J.
D. Edwards transactions as they apply to the receiving and movement of inventory. Receiving Functions Must have a firm understanding of the importance of accuracy when receiving product both physically and electronically. Must act with a sense of exactness, care and urgency as it applies to the receiving and storage of material.
Proactively identify, report and mitigate receiving issues and concerns. JOB LOCATION Winchester, Virginia, United States POSITION TYPE Full-Time/Regular EXPERIENCE .
Required Skills
& Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be forklift certified. Must be approved to drive the company truck. Demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs such as, Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to learn and use J.D. Edwards to process inventory transactions. Familiarization of the master parts list and its sub-components.
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and carry out detailed written instruction. Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance Ability to follow all Trex health and safety standards. Utilize individual skills, training and abilities in order to maintain the highest standards of job performance and professional conduct. SALARY Base Salary Range: $ 22.74 - 27.50 per hour The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply.
This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary. At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and considering the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
