Job Title: SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Consultant (Pharmaceuticals) Summary We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Consultant specializing in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) within the pharmaceutical sector. This pivotal role involves leading end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards for controlled substances, and optimizing manufacturing workflows.

The successful candidate will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical SAP solutions, driving efficiency and compliance across the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Responsibilities

Architect and deploy comprehensive SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored for Production Planning and Quality Management in a GMP-compliant environment. Manage the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical implementations, from initial requirements gathering to go-live support and post-implementation optimization. Configure and oversee DEA-controlled substance processes, ensuring complete auditability and regulatory compliance for restricted materials.

Integrate advanced capabilities for Serialization and Track & Trace to meet global serialization mandates and supply chain transparency requirements. Leverage PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) and EWM/WM (Extended Warehouse Management/Warehouse Management) modules to streamline production schedules and inventory movements.

Conduct rigorous testing and validation of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) configurations to ensure accurate material availability and production planning.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in SAP consulting, with a specific focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP/QM modules, including deep knowledge of MRP logic and production execution. Demonstrated success in leading end-to-end implementation projects within the life sciences or pharmaceutical domain.

Strong proficiency in PP/DS and EWM/WM configurations to support complex manufacturing and logistics scenarios. Hands-on experience with serialization frameworks and Track & Trace technologies. In-depth understanding of DEA-controlled substance regulations and the ability to configure SAP processes to meet these strict legal requirements.
