Kitchen Manager - Barnum

Description: The kitchen manager is the staff employee who operates/leads the individual school cafeteria/kitchen and is directly accountable to the Director of Food & Nutrition; Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

for this position include but are not limited to, ordering, preparation and execution of food and supplies, safety and sanitation of the entire kitchen and storage areas, supervision of all staff employees to maintain an orderly and organized kitchen. Training, meetings, clerical and administrative duties are also required.

You are performing all the duties directed by the department in order to operate a successful school cafeteria/school breakfast and lunch program. Job description is attached. Supervised by : Food & Nutrition Services Director and Manager. Location: Assigned to Barnum Elementary School Hours Per Day : 7 hours Qualifications: High School education or equivalent.

Qualified Food Operator Sanitation Certified Preferred. Food Service Experience Preferred.
