Job description

This application is for paid certified firefighters. Volunteer candidates should apply to the Volunteer Firefighter role. Community Volunteer Fire Department is a response department that provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, and technical rescue response to an estimated population of 150,000 people within a geographic area of approximately 25 square miles.

We are recruiting men and women who are dedicated to helping their fellow citizens. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old Must have current full-time employment with a career fire department Must hold a minimum TCFP Basic Firefighter Certification Must hold a minimum Texas EMT Basic Certification Must be able to submit at least 8 days of availability per month 12-Hour shifts on weekdays and weekends with additional opportunities available.

Must be eligible to work in the United States Benefits: Annual Uniform Allowance Medical and retirement benefits available for those who qualify Supplemental Insurance options through Aflac Employee discount program on everyday expenses Tuition reimbursement after 1 year of service Application Process: Submit Application PAT Test Complete In-Person Interview Pass a criminal background check and drug screen Attended TRO class Complete orientation after TRO completion.
