Assistant Director of Facilities

Location: Calvary Homes Compensation: $62,500–$65,000 / annually Compensation is based on several factors, including experience, education, qualifications, and budgeted compensation for the position. Current Opening: Full-time (EXEMPT) Participates in an on-call rotation The Assistant Director of Facilities is responsible for assisting the Director of Facilities with staffing, work assignments, and various tasks related to the maintenance of facilities and grounds in accordance with Tandem Living standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training in maintenance or a related trade preferred. Five (5) years of experience in skilled maintenance and three (3) years of supervisory experience required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Plans, organizes, delegates, and monitors resident repair requests, work order completion, and preventive maintenance programs. Oversees outside contractors performing facility-related work, including maintenance, groundskeeping, and snow and ice removal. Assists with inventory management and ordering supplies. Coordinates work schedules, assignments, and tasks with employees and contractors, ensuring expectations and performance standards are clearly communicated and met.

Communicates with residents to address complaints and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring resident satisfaction. Assists in maintaining current knowledge of and ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements, fire safety and disaster procedures, and related documentation and records. Participates in the on-call rotation, responding to maintenance emergencies, weather-related events, and snow and ice removal needs to ensure campus safety and continuity of services.

Assists with overseeing the Security team, which falls under the Facility Department.
