Nurse Practitioner - Pharmacotherapy Clinic

About the Opportunity Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a per diem employed position to join our team on the island of O’ahu. What You’ll Do:

• Provide patient/family education
• Perform comprehensive medication review/reconciliation
• Optimize medication adherence
• Monitor medications for safety and efficacy
• Management of medication refills, labs, and supportive medications What You’ll Enjoy:

Qualifications

• Must meet educational requirements for Hawai’i state licensing.
• Current Hawai’i RN license.
• Current Hawai’i APRN license or Nurse Practitioner certification in an area of specialty.
• Current BLS/HCP card.
• Two (2) years experience in a nursing area of specialty. Why the Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group? About Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
