Leader Supplier Quality Assurance

Req ID 73884 | Zhangjiagang, China, ZF Automotive Safety Systems (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. Your Task: Manage daily supplier quality, follow up on incoming-material issues, lead root-cause investigations and closure, and drive corrective actions. Audit and optimize supplier processes across injection molding, casting, stamping, cold heading, heat treatment, and surface treatment Develop and refine inspection standards; guide and audit supplier inspection execution to ensure effectiveness.

Apply the 7 QC Tools and core manuals (APQP / PPAP / FMEA / MSA / SPC) for analysis, process control, and risk assessment. Lead 8D reports independently—review supplier submissions, guide root-cause analysis and CAPA, and verify effectiveness. Conduct regular supplier communication, align quality requirements, and resolve disputes; collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Engineering to drive cross-functional quality initiatives.

Support supplier onboarding and annual audits per IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 to assess quality-system capability. Track quality data, review supplier performance periodically, and deliver professional reports and improvement plans.

Your Profile

Education

& Experience: College diploma or above in Mechanical, Quality Management, or Materials; 2+ years of hands-on SQE experience. Process Knowledge: Proficient in at least 3 of—injection molding, casting, stamping, cold heading, heat treatment, surface treatment—with risk-identification and optimization skills. Inspection & Control: Expertise in machining and component inspection; able to author inspection specs and audit supplier end-to-end inspection work.

Quality Tools: Skilled in the 7 QC Tools with proven application; formally trained and experienced in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC. Problem-Solving: Proficient in the 8D methodology—able to draft, review, and drive implementation independently. Language: Fluent English (reading, writing, and verbal for daily work); able to independently read English standards and technical documents.

Communication: Excellent internal/external coordination and logical expression; able to produce clear, professional reports with strong storytelling. Preferred Certifications: IATF 16949 Internal Auditor or VDA 6.3 Process Auditor. Attributes: Rigorous, resilient, and execution-driven; committed to quality principles.
