Deputy Director (FT 40) - Nmcrs San Diego

This is a civilian position. Please note that this position does NOT require military service and/or enlistment You Can Make A Difference. Be an NMCRS TEAM Leader! The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society San Diego is actively seeking a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Deputy Director, with extensive knowledge of military pay and allowances.

Minimum requirements include: successful completion of High School/GED; 2 years of documented successful college-level coursework or min. 2 years work experience with a Volunteer organization, focused in the client service area; 3 years supervisory experience; min. 6 months experience in public speaking or instructor/training facilitator at the adult education level; ability to provide training, guidance, and support to a Volunteer staff; proficiency with MS Office software.

Preference will be given to applicants who have prior experience with the Society as a volunteer or an employee. This opportunity will remain open until filled . Must be able to begin employment within 30 days of job offer. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening.
