About the Role
The Grind Team Employee plays a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing or production environment. This position involves working closely with machinery and equipment to ensure that grinding processes meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining a smooth workflow by performing precise grinding tasks, monitoring equipment performance, and addressing any issues promptly.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of machine operation and mechanical processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or grinding environment. Familiarity with CNC grinding machines and related software. Certification in machine operation or safety training. Basic knowledge of quality control procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
Operate grinding machines and related equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures. Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of grinding equipment to prevent downtime and extend machine life. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet daily production targets.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Skills: The required skills such as machine operation, attention to detail, and safety awareness are essential for performing daily grinding tasks accurately and efficiently. Candidates will use their ability to read technical drawings to ensure that each workpiece meets precise specifications.
Communication and teamwork skills are important for coordinating with colleagues and supervisors to maintain a steady production flow.
