Welder Position: Advance Welders operate and produce to customer’s specifications while using job work orders and blueprints.

This position works closely with other manufacturing departments while ensuring a safe and lean workspace. This position will embrace and encourage continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Proficient in assigned welding techniques Interpretation of shop drawings, including weld wire symbology. Implement knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and galvanized metal. Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments Process inspection, certification, and documentation Welding equipment maintenance Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools Implement Safety and housekeeping daily Other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications, Requirements and Education: High School diploma, or equivalent preferred.

Welding Diploma or applicable years of experience Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters Ability to read tape measure Successful completion of an internal welding test Must be able to stand for long periods Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout a 10-hour shift Must be willing to cross train in other areas Advance is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
