Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships JOB SUMMARY Assist accounts payable department to receive, process, organize, and record invoices as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists and backups all accounts payable functions, including invoice receipt, review, verification, coding, and payment processing, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Performs accurate and timely data entry of invoices, payment information, and supporting documentation within the accounting system.

Process vendor payments by preparing, reviewing, and issuing checks in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring compliance. Matches invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, resolving discrepancies as needed. Reconciles processed transactions by verifying accuracy and completeness of entries. Analyzes and assigns expenses to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers based on invoice and expense report review.

Manages vendor payments by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling payments, and resolving discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, credits, and stop payments. Reviews, analyzes, and accurately codes invoices to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policy. Performs vendor statement reconciliation and resolves variances in a timely manner.

Maintains accounts payable files and records in compliance with SOX requirements and company retention standards. Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
