Assistant Residence Supervisor

Position Summary

JCCA is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Residence Supervisors to support the daily operation of our residential programs. Reporting to the Residence Supervisor, the Assistant Residence Supervisor plays an important leadership role in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where youth can develop positive relationships, build skills, and make meaningful progress.

Summary of Job Duties: Partner with the Residence Supervisor to oversee daily residential operations and staffing. Support staff supervision, coaching, training, and development. Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.

Model effective strategies for teaching positive and replacement behaviors. Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulations, and residential standards. Support the development and implementation of behavioral plans, ICSPs, safety plans, and youth-development initiatives. Collaborate with youth, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Monitor program progress and ensure timely, accurate incident reports and documentation. Assist with cottage systems that promote accountability, positive relationships, and youth success.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience working with youth in a residential treatment setting Administrative experience demonstrating leadership capability Must be proficient in basic computer, applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Valid NYS Driver license is highly preferred; NJ or CT license is acceptable Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm or 4pm -12am Compensation: $25.

00 - 27.40 per hour ($52K - $57K annualized)
