Currently Hiring for Full time for the September training Class (Dependent on DHS clearance) www.aepscorp.com*****$1,000 Sign on Bonus******** $32.18 Probationary Rate $34.18 Base Rate plus $5.50 per hour Health & Welfare union sponsored benefit OT available MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years of any Armed Security experience Two years Corrections experience, Law Enforcement and/or U.S Military Service experience U.S Citizenship or Naturalization Proof LOCATIONS: Burlington, Essex, Williston AEPS is seeking Part-Time Security Armed Guards to work at our client’s site, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Service (FPS), and is responsible for protection, federally owned or leased facilities. FPS’s mission is to provide a safe environment in which Federal agencies conduct their business without fear of violence, crime or disorder. Candidates must be available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays. The ideal candidate will serve to ensure the protection of the client’s property, employees and their property, twenty-four (24) hours a day, 365 days a year, in a structured regimen, with emergency response capabilities. Essential Function & Responsibilities: Ensure that the client’s property and its occupants are adequately protected against harm or loss by means of deterrence, detection, observation and reporting Conduct security patrols as directed Conduct access control functions as directed Post familiarization, facility entry control, campus entry control, personnel/vehicle inspection processes Knowledge of lost and found property and controlled property procedures Produce and maintain security related documents, reports, forms and logs as directed.
