Lifeguard - Brandywine, DE YMCA Family

The Lifeguard is responsible for the guarding and safety of members and program participants within all aquatic facilities. This position requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and strong interpersonal skills. Lifeguards are expected to maintain order, enforce pool rules, and provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.

A lifeguard will be responsible for carrying out and enforcing aquatic policies and procedures in compliance with statutes as described by the State of Delaware, the YMCA of the USA, and the YMCA of Delaware. Deliver excellent service to all members, guests, employees & volunteers and respond on behalf of the YMCA of Delaware as the primary responder for medical events. Shift: Monday-Sunday (8 hours per shift)
