About the Position

Cocoa Ford is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our Service Department in a hybrid Service Business Development Coordinator & Cashier role.

This position plays an important part in creating an exceptional customer experience from the initial service appointment through vehicle pickup and payment. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with customers by phone and in person, managing service appointments, and handling cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Service Business Development Coordinator Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service department calls promptly and professionally.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage customer service appointments.
• Make outbound calls, texts, and follow-ups to customers regarding upcoming maintenance and service needs.
• Assist customers with appointment questions, service reminders, and general inquiries.
• Coordinate with service advisors to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Maintain accurate customer information and appointment details in the dealership's CRM and scheduling systems.
• Follow up with customers to confirm appointments and encourage return visits.
• Provide a positive first impression of the dealership with every customer interaction.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process payments for completed service repairs.
• Accurately handle cash, credit card, debit card, and other approved payment transactions.
• Review repair orders and ensure invoices are properly finalized before payment.
• Provide customers with receipts and answer basic payment-related questions.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and complete daily balancing procedures.
• Coordinate with service advisors regarding completed repair orders and customer vehicle pickup.
• Ensure customers have a smooth and positive checkout experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Previous cashier, receptionist, customer service, or call center experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong phone etiquette and professional customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership management systems (DMS), CRM, and scheduling software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing payments.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and a team player.
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly attitude with customers and coworkers.
