A full-time REHAB DIRECTOR position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Poughkeepsie, NY . This position is open to a Physical Therapist (or) SLP-CCC. Facility is a busy five star subacute rehabilitation facility, minutes from Interstate 91 with a beautiful rehabilitation gym that has plentiful natural light.

The 80 bed facility boasts a highly supportive management team focused on patient-centered care. The rehabilitation department prides itself on its Fun and Functional Therapy Program with a grocery cart, mock grocery shopping area along with a variety of other functional materials and assessments to compliment the multiple modalities we utilize.

Requirements

A successful Rehab Director will Ensure efficient and effective operations Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor Provide therapy services as needed Be a licensed Physical Therapist or SLP-CCC or license eligible in the state where employed Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting #IND333 #LI-MB1 #Rehab.
