Job Summary

We are hiring Culinary Team Members interested in working in a fun, team environment. This is a great opportunity to learn from an experienced culinary team in an upscale country club atmosphere in beautiful Evergreen, Colorado. Prepare food in accordance with Club recipes and standards/specifications. Act as a first point of contact for other line cooks, providing guidance and clarifications.

Assists Sous Chef in assigning cleaning and prep projects to cooks and stewards. Holds cooks and stewards to a high and professional standard in their behavior and attitude. Reports to: Sous Chef; Executive Chef.

Compensation

$23-25/hr. Other Details: Job Types: Full Time. Job Tasks: Prepares all required items. Sets up service units with needed items. Prepares items that are ordered in accordance with established portions and presentation standards. Can perform prep and execution of all dishes on all stations. Demonstrates knowledge of prep, execution, and plating specifications.

Notifies sous chef of expected shortages. Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary. Assists the chef and sous chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen. Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times. Sets up, maintains, and breaks down prep/cook station.

Requisition items needed to produce menu items. Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations. Covers, dates, and neatly stores all leftover products that are reusable. Maintains the highest sanitary standards. Coordinates and times orders with other kitchen operations. Ensures all dishes reach the window in a time frame consistent with quality.

Makes recommendations for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the line prep area and equipment. Attends staff meetings. Assists with other duties as assigned by the sous chef.
