Technology Systems Manager

Position Title: Technology Systems Manager Payroll/Personnel Type: 12 Month Job #: 693 Reports to : Director of Technology Shift Length: 8 Hours Union Eligibility: Non-Eligible Salary: $90,000-125,000 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum five (5) years' experience in network and technology systems operations Experience in G Suite for Education Administration Excellent problem-solving skills required Experience in 1:1 device deployment and administration SUPERVISED BY: Director of Technology TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months Confidential Position RESPONSIBILITIES: Installs and configures servers, workstations, printers, routers, switches, security, firewall and other software/hardware systems Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network issues Perform network upgrades necessary to support users and applications used by the District Create and configure user network and email accounts Performs analysis and make recommendations regarding network infrastructure maintenance, security, growth, and efficiency Performs site capacity analysis to ensure functionality, stability and connectivity for system applications Assist in submitting information for budgets and monitoring expenses as relates to technology systems Manages the implementation of system applications and software Provides information relevant to Board policies on staff and student acceptable use of the network as requested Provides phone system support for all district communication lines Provide technical assistance and training to users and other team members Coordinate installation of technology systems, hardware and software Complete network related work requests in a timely manner and document resolutions Oversee third-party vendors contracted to work on network infrastructure Research and present IT related recommendations and procedures to Director of Technology and/or Technology Department Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of network hardware/software Disclaimer: The information contained in this job description is for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is not an exhaustive list of the duties performed for this position.
