• ORANGE, CT, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $110000.00 - $115000.00Salary/year, Travel Percentage: Up to 50% , Job Category: Nurse, Constellation Health is seeking a new Supervisor of Education and Quality to join our team in Orange, CT This person will support our offices in Orange, Norwalk and Rocky Hill, CT POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor of Education and Quality will work in conjunction with the Assistant Director to manage all onboarding and continuing education of all hospice staff members. Training and orientation include, but is not limited to, clinical best practices, paperwork, training on electronic medical records and order platforms, point of service documentation and more. Supervisor will also assist with implementation and coordination of quality programs and audits at the direction of the Assistant Director.

Responsibilities

will include

1. Performs both in office and field training on clinical best practices, including all electronic systems utilized
2. Must be available to orient in the field in all office location territories across multiple disciplines
3. Identifying quality trends for areas of improvement, and ongoing education of the staff.
4. Will participate in quarterly reviews and audits as required
5. Assists with staff development, orientation, in services and lap top training
6. Instructs staff on infection, incident and compliant process and reporting and other mandatory training
7. Assures that compliance with state quality regulations is met
8. Provides appropriate counseling, instruction and additional training as needed for staff
9. Provides education on agency process’ to new hire and assessment of new hire performance, recommends extension of onboarding as appropriate with specificity as to tasks outstanding to meet standard
10. Provides initial computer instruction and ongoing user groups for company computer clinical documentation systems, is a matrix superuser for all staff
11. Facilitates collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team in achieving desired outcomes
12. Ensures that information and documentation regarding orientation, performance improvement and staff development activities is given to supervisors’ members in a timely manner
13. Maintains visible clinical presence
14. Demonstrates proficiency in use of technology
15. Will perform all duties of the Clinical Supervisor’s team in his/her absence and assignments
16. Will stand in when Assistant director is unavailable
17. Will perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program. Current RN license and maintenance of license in the State of Connecticut. Minimum of 2 years of full-time home care or hospice experience required 3-5 years preferred. Previous educational or teaching experience preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, computer and customer service skills. #IND1
