Utility Worker

V-Tech Solutions, Inc., is seeking utility workers in Washington, DC to perform sanitation services in support of food operation at Saint Elizabeth Hospital. Requirement: Minimum Education: High School education or GED Shall be able able work with a variety of commercial cleaning chemicals. Shall have experience using the following commercial equipment: power washer, walk-behind floor cleaner, floor buffer, dish machine and a pot machine.

Shall be able to lift between 25-40 pounds with dolly and other moving equipment assistance and be able to stand for long periods of time. Shall be able to climb and work on ladder. Demonstrate proficiency in oral, written communications and interpersonal skills, appropriate to professional food workers services settings during the performance of Contract.

Perform simple math. Responsibility: Cleans, mops, sweeps and dust Main Kitchen equipment. Clean, washes and polishes food service equipment within facility. Washes and dries pots and pans, in accordance to industry standards. Clean floor drains in the main kitchen and dish room area. Collects trash in the main kitchen.

Clean walls and floor to include other related sanitation duties. Clean and sanitize Consumer food consumption areas located in residential and community meeting spaces after meal service. Collects trash in the main kitchen and other Consumer food consumption areas.
