The Peer Support Specialist provides recovery-oriented support to individuals receiving behavioral health services by using their lived experience to inspire hope, promote wellness, and encourage recovery. This role assists clients with developing coping skills, connecting to community resources, achieving treatment goals, and navigating the recovery process while working collaboratively with the clinical treatment team.
