What You’ll Do As a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver with Millennial Transportation, you’ll safely transport freight on local routes while providing dependable service to our customers. Depending on the route and operation, equipment may include: Day cabs Dry vans 48–53 ft. trailers Flatbeds Skeeter trucks Minimum Qualifications To qualify, drivers must: Be at least 25 years old Hold a valid Class A CDL with required endorsements Have at least 18 months of commercial driving experience Have at least 1 year of 53-foot trailer experience within the last 3 years Meet applicable DOT and Millennial Transportation safety requirements Be able to provide up to 10 years of work history Driver Safety Qualifications Candidates must meet our driving and safety standards, including: No more than 2 moving violations in the last year No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years No convictions within the last year for speeding 15 MPH or more above the posted speed limit, reckless or careless driving, improper or erratic lane changes, following too closely, failure to move over/yield for an emergency vehicle, or failure to stop for a sign or signal No convictions within the last 3 years for driving a CMV without the proper endorsement, driving a CMV without obtaining a CDL, or violations involving the use of a handheld device No driving on a suspended license within the last 5 years No safety-related license suspensions within the last 5 years No serious CDL disqualifications within 5 years of license reinstatement No more than 1 non-safety-related suspension in the last year, 2 in the last 3 years, or 3 in the last 5 years Hiring Requirements Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting applicable company, DOT, and safety requirements.

The qualification process may include an MVR, PSP, FMCSA Clearinghouse review, background screening, drug screening, DOT physical, and final Safety approval.
