Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant will assist in patient care duties. Direct patient care is done under the direction of a Registered Nurse and within the scope of sound professional nursing practice to be delegated. Education

High school graduate or equivalent is required upon hire or transfer to the department. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon hire or transfer to the department.
