Job description

Assisting with the take off and pricing of tender packages when necessary Accurate and timely completion of monthly applications Verify client payments against applications and provide debtors position to the Head of Commercial, taking action to reduce outstanding accounts Management of sub-contract packages including management/payments of labour and plant gangs on site Accurate pricing, negotiating and agreeing contractual variations with the client Management of several schemes at any one time Attend site meetings and work closely with project team Expected to manage and provide development and support to other Commercial team members Requirements Skills / Qualifications QS degree or relevant Cost/Commercial discipline 5+ years’ experience in a similar role for major house builders Effective communication skills Proficient IT Skills, with a strong working knowledge of Excel and Bluebeam Sound commercial acumen including managing a large volume of work to tight client driven deadlines Ability to work under pressure, take the initiative and accept accountability Strong negotiation skills Experience of pricing tenders / contract variations Driving License Benefits Car allowance/or car/truck.
