Vuori is looking for a Product Analytics Manager to join our Merchandising team and deliver data-driven insights that inform product, merchandising, and assortment decisions across the business.

This individual will analyze product performance, identify risks and opportunities, and translate complex data into clear, commercially relevant insights. Partnering closely with Merchandising, Planning, Strategy, and Data & Analytics, this role will help improve how Vuori evaluates product performance, measures newness and assortment productivity, and makes decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll get to do: Product Performance Analytics & Insights Develop recurring and ad hoc analyses of product and merchandising performance across channels, markets, product hierarchies, and attributes, evaluating key metrics such as demand, revenue, margin, sell-through, inventory, weeks of supply, markdowns, returns, and forecast performance.

Lead the development of product lifecycle models and analytical frameworks that guide investment, replenishment, markdown, and exit decisions to maximize profitability. Assortment Reporting & Tools Assess the performance and incremental contribution of new products, carryover products, color extensions, and product refreshes.

Evaluate assortment breadth, depth, productivity, and balance. Develop analytical frameworks and tools that support product expansion, rationalization, localization, assortment architecture, and lifecycle management. Cross-Functional Collaboration Build strong partnerships with Merchandising, Planning, Strategy, Wholesale, International, and Data & Analytics teams.

Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements and communicate findings in a concise, commercially relevant way. Collaborate with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Analytics teams to improve data models, reporting workflows, dashboards, and self-service tools. Data Quality & Continuous Improvement Own and maintain an ETL-enabled Product analytics sandbox for prototyping, testing, and validating new product attributes, hierarchies, metrics, and data models.

Champion Product Attributes. Improve the accuracy, consistency, and usability of product attributes, product hierarchies, and merchandising data. Identify opportunities to automate recurring analyses, close reporting gaps, and develop scalable tools that support both executive summaries and detailed product-level analysis.

Explore advanced analytics and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve the speed, quality, and accessibility of product insights.

Who you are

7+ years of experience in product analytics, merchandising analytics, retail analytics, business analytics, merchandise planning, or related field. Experience in apparel, footwear, consumer products, specialty retail, or a similarly product-driven business is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

An advanced degree is a plus or equivalent years of experience preferred. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to structure business questions, define appropriate measurement frameworks, and translate findings into actionable insights. Strong understanding of merchandising concepts, product hierarchies, product attributes, and product lifecycle performance.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, with working knowledge of Python for data transformation, workflow automation, and analytical model development. Expert-level proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Strategy, including hands-on experience designing data models, developing scalable dashboards, and deploying governed self-service reporting solutions.
