Associate Center Lead

Designation: Assistant Manager (Associate Center Lead) Department: Operations Company: Bakingo / FA Gifts Pvt. Ltd. Reporting To: Center Lead / Multi Store Manager (MSM) Job Purpose To support the Center Lead in managing day-to-day center operations, ensuring operational excellence, product quality, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, team discipline, and compliance with company SOPs.

The Associate Center Lead will take responsibility for smooth center operations in the absence of the Center Lead.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Management Manage daily center operations and ensure smooth functioning. Ensure timely opening and closing of the center. Monitor daily order processing, packing, dispatch, and delivery operations. Ensure proper coordination between kitchen, warehouse, delivery teams, and central operations. Maintain operational standards as per company SOPs.
2. Inventory & Stock Management Monitor daily stock inwarding, outwarding, and inventory movement. Ensure proper FIFO practices and MRD labelling. Maintain accurate stock records and minimize inventory variance. Monitor stock availability and ensure timely ordering as per MIS and threshold requirements. Control product wastage and expiry-related losses.
3. Sales & Online Platform Management Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving assigned targets. Ensure 100% product visibility on Swiggy and Zomato. Monitor online menus, pricing, product availability, and order acceptance. Ensure minimum stock-out situations and take corrective action. Focus on improving customer ratings and reducing order cancellations.
4. Team Management & Training Supervise Center Executives, Florists, Chefs, and Delivery Executives. Ensure proper grooming, attendance, punctuality, and discipline. Conduct regular team briefings and provide on-the-job training. Allocate duties and ensure effective manpower utilization. Address team performance issues and escalate major concerns to the reporting manager.
5. Quality, Hygiene & Audit Compliance Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the entire center. Ensure proper cleaning of racks, drawers, refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas. Monitor temperature records of chillers, freezers, and cold rooms. Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines and company hygiene standards. Maintain audit documentation, checklists, and mandatory notice boards. Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
6. Customer Experience & Complaint Management Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints. Monitor customer feedback and online ratings. Coordinate with the customer support team for order-related issues. Take corrective action to avoid repeat complaints. Maintain high standards of product quality and customer service.
7. Reporting & Documentation Prepare and maintain daily operational reports. Monitor sales, wastage, inventory variance, inwarding, visibility, and order fulfilment. Ensure timely sharing of daily opening and closing checklists. Maintain all operational records and supporting documents. Report technical issues, maintenance requirements, and supply-related concerns to the reporting manager.
8. Maintenance & Asset Management Ensure all equipment, refrigerators, freezers, printers, CCTV, and other assets are functional. Immediately report equipment breakdowns and maintenance requirements. Ensure proper utilization and care of company assets. Follow up on pending maintenance issues until closure.
