About the Role

The Stripping Crew Team Member is responsible for the removal and transfer of all pre-cast concrete pieces. They utilize concrete saws, overhead cranes, and various measuring tools to ensure pieces of pre-cast concrete are the correct size needed and moved to the correct area in the plant. The Stripping Crew Team Member works in all-weather climates and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job while meeting company safety, quality, and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

Follow blueprints, measure, and utilize concrete saw to cut to ensure proper size of pre-cast pieces. Utilize overhead cranes and teamwork to remove pieces of concrete from the forms. Transfer pieces of concrete from trailers to proper location. Maintain and cleanup work area during and after removal of concrete pieces.

Qualifications

Required Preferred High school diploma or equivalent Crane Certification Forklift Certification ACI or similar construction certification 1+ years of general labor experience 1+ years of experience working in the construction field 1+ years of experience working in the concrete field What “ROCKS” about Mid-States Concrete Industries?
