Sr. Project Engineer

Department: Transportation-1120 Position: Sr. Project Engineer – Houston, TX Job Description DEC, a premier Texas civil engineering firm, is currently seeking a Sr. Project Engineer with 8-15 years of relevant experience for our or Houston, Texas office.

Responsibilities

& Qualifications (include but not limited to)

• Managing and leading roadway design for Cities, counties and TXDOT
• Coordinating subconsultants and staff
• Managing budget, quality and schedule for projects
• Conducting meetings, preparing progress reports and invoices
• Effective communication with staff, subs and clients Requirements
• BS in Civil Engineering
• Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license in State of Texas
• 8-15 years of transportation related experience
• Prior experience preparing plans for TxDOT a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project. Wise
• Good working knowledge of Micro. Station and Open.
