Nurse Assistant

At Willis Knighton Pierremont (WKP), our 27-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit is located on the 7th floor. Our support staff are an intricate part of our team! As a Nursing Assistant, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting nurses by providing direct patient care#such as assisting with activities of daily living#(bathing, positioning, ambulating, toileting, meal assistance, recording vital signs).

Additional responsibilities include communication and collaboration with nursing and allied health professionals regarding assessment findings, patient health concerns, and following the patient#s plan of care.#CPI training and 1:1 monitoring education is required, but can be obtained once employed. Hospital orientation, in addition to a unit-specific orientation,#will be provided.
